Basic Drawing in the Huntsville Art Museum Galleries with SARA BETH FAIR

March 6 (Sunday) from 2-4 p.m.
March 10, 17, 24 (3 Thursdays) from 6-8 p.m.

The session begins with a short discussion and slide show to highlight specific technical, historical, and stylistic issues.

Then move into the galleries to draw from artworks in the permanent collection and the Helen Turner: The Women’s Point of View exhibition.

Learn basic drawing skills while exploring new techniques. A live model will be on hand to see how the artist simplified.

Media includes graphite, charcoal, and conté crayon.

Just bring your sketchbook – we have everything else! Space is limited to 8 students.
