"Freedom" by Ascribing Artist Angela True

Update to a previous post on the Ascribing Artists blog:

"Freedom" by Angela True, copyright

This painting was inspired during a time Angela and God walked very closely during a time when her granddaughter, all of 2 1/2 years old was diagnosed with cancer. Angela notes on her art blog about this painting "Never doubted Him for a moment. Just put one foot in front of the other."

Angela just sent an update on the painting "Freedom" She has finished it and made a few comments to it. See below.

This little girl has finally arrived! In previous post, we discovered her name and a sense of her journey. We determined, you and I, that she would remain bald and express just a wondrous freedom from her pain. My very own little cancer survivor said this upon viewing the painting, "She looks happy because no more chemo!"

I hope to get in contact with a Childhood Cancer Art Show somewhere, but so far my search has brought few results. If you would like to help discover an appropriate Art Show, by all means, do so!

Thank you friends and family for helping me to put into a tangible expression that which is often hard to describe.
