Marcus Hunt, Arts Attorney with the Duell/Hunt Law Firm, LLC. in Birmingham and founder of Alabama Lawyers for the Arts, is scheduled to speak to the local arts community 9AM to 12PM, Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 at Lowe Mill ARTS and Entertainment in Huntsville, AL.
Alabama Lawyers for the Arts (ALArts) along with Lowe Mill ARTS and Entertainment are hosting the workshop entitledCopyright and Trademark Basics. Marcus Hunt and Niki Garrett, Director of Alabama Lawyers for the Arts, will present information on the everyday issues that relate to those in the arts as well as arts organization in the areas of Copyright and Trademark Law. This workshop will benefit songwriters, musicians, writers, poets, visual artists, photographers, producers, actors, dancers and performers, as well as, those involved in arts organizations.
