Artists of the 21st Century

A Juried Exhibition of Collegiate Student Art
West Tennessee Regional Art Center, Humboldt, Tennessee

Harvey Sadow is known worldwide for his ceramic vessels and innovative ceramic surfaces. He is
also an accomplished painter and digital artist and has produced site-specific sculptures in a variety
of media for numerous public spaces such as The World Bank in Washington, DC. His artwork is rep-
resented in numerous public and corporate collections including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston,
International Museum of Ceramic Art in China and the White House Collection of American Crafts.

Eligibility:
The Artists of the 21st Century exhibition is open to all undergraduate art students enrolled in a visual arts program in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. Work entered must have been produced during the student's undergraduate enrollment period and must have been created solely by the artist. Media may include: painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, ceramics, photography, printmaking, digital art, fiber art, mixed media, and jewelry. 2D works must be able to hang from the art centers installed hanging system, which means nails or screws cannot be driven into the art center walls. Works requiring electricity or additional hanging structures should not be submitted and cannot be exhibited. Large sculptures must be self-installed by the artist and the definition of "large" in this case is left to the discretion of the exhibition planners. The actual weight of any 3D work cannot exceed 200 lbs. The WTRAC has a "no nudes policy". Artists can either submit slides or digital images to enter the competition.
