Announcement for Troy Crisswell Watercolor Workshop
HAL will be sponsoring a 3-day watercolor workshop March 11-13 at Valley United Methodist Church. 9:00am to 4:00pm each day.
The workshop will be conducted by Mr. Troy Crisswell. Mr. Crisswell works in both oil and watercolor. He began his art career as a graphic artist in 1979 at the age of 27. After 12 years in graphic design, he became a self-employed watercolor artist in 1991. His work is a unique combination of classical ,graphic and surreal techniques. The workshop will focus on layout and development of one piece of work (of each student’s choosing) emphasizing graphic watercolor techniques. Sessions will consist of morning demonstrations with student painting sessions in the afternoon. It is intended for students with some experience in watercolor painting.
Price of the 3 day workshop is $350. Enrollment is limited to 15 students. To sign-up, contact the Huntsville Art League at 534-3860. Payment is required by March 1, 2010. Checks should be made payable to Huntsville Art League. A minimum payment of $100 is required to reserve a place in the workshop.
